Why Hello there / Hola Guapo! Aren't you all looking just gorgeous!
Welcome to the second inaugural BAM Scavenger Hunt, which will see you explore Dublin, make some friends (maybe), develop a deep hatred for the creators of the quiz, use your brainy bits and potentially win the ultimate prize... The Tiger Trophy filled with a cheapo spirit (still to be decided).
At each destination you will be directed to do something, perhaps find (scavenge) an object, take a photo or video as directed, maybe interact with the public, who knows?! There will be an extra optional task as well at each destination - whether you do this or not is up to you, but it will help you out with points. You will then need to solve a clue in order to work out where the next destination is.
This is a points based game which means the fastest team will not necessarily win the game. Instead a team that shows ingenuity, good looks, wit and lack of shame has as strong a chance of winning!
Scoring
The extremely arbitrary scoring system is as follows:

| 15 | points for fastest team, 10 points for second, 5 for third |
| 3 | bonus points for best overall team photo |
| 3 | bonus points for best overall scavenged item |
| 3 | point for best team name |
| 1 | point per bonus quest achieved |
| 10 | point bonus to best team at scavenging/Bonuses |
| Minus 1 | point for a second clue |
| Minus 3 | point for a GPS coordinate |
The game works as follows:
You are currently at Fibbers, the first of 12 destinations.
All clues, answers and uploads etc. will be done via your team log in on http://dev.thebedlab.com You and your team have a unique login there (so multiple people on your team can use the site at the same time)
Get logged in on the site and you will see what you need to scavenge from this venue and what the bonus task is for extra points. It is up to you whether you choose to scavenge the items and do the bonus tasks. Solving/doing the tasks will get you extra points but you do not lose points if you don't do them. There is also a place for uploading any photos/videos that are required at this location on the page too and below that, there is the clue and additional info for the next location you are going to.
Location 0 is an example of how things work and does not count towards your score. It is the clue that we shared with you before today that got you to Fibbers but you can play around with it to see how you can get an additional clue and GPS coordinates to the next location if you are having difficulty. Points will be docked for availing of these extra clues, however.
***When your team is ready to start the hunt, fill in the answer to the clue (i.e. "Fibber Magee's" or "fibbers") and click the "Submit" button to unlock your next location. This will be taken as the start-time for your team setting off on the hunt so don't do it until you're all ready!
Everything is time stamped so make sure to submit your location answers as soon as you figure them out. And that's it really! We will be cycling between venues and trying to see as much of you as possible. If at any stage you get super confused or bored, just give a call on our mobiles. If you cannot upload a photo or video through the site, then send it on to either of us on Whatsapp and we'll make sure it gets included in your score! Oh and keep an eye on the facebook page...
We have a space booked in the final destination from 6.30 so we will be there however there's no rush so if you are later than that, no worries at all! Prize giving will happen when all the teams arrive, there is also food available in this mystery venue in case you're worried about where your next meal is coming from!

Short Version
- Go to http://dev.thebedlab.com and get logged in to your team account
- Receive clue for scavenging requirements and details of next destination clue
- Submit your answer once you have solved this, then, if correct, go that destination and repeat!
If you can't work out the destination clue then:
- Tick the checkbox and click the button to get an extra clue
- Receive easier clue
- If you still can't work out clue then tick the checkbox and click the button to get GPS link
- You will receive GPS co-ordinates to next destination, just click them to open in Google Maps
If you can't work out the scavenger clue, tough shit! You do not gain a point! If you don't want to do the bonus point option that's fine also!
